I am recentlely newly married to a wonderful man whom is awesome with my son. My issue is that my ex husband received primary custody of our 6 year old child about 3 years ago due to him haveing a lawyer and i didnt. I had one but had to fire him because he wasnt doing anything for my case. At the time I was somewhat ok with it, because his father was takeing care of him, but in the past 2 years, his father has dated 6 different woman and has had our son around every single one of them, and they didnt even last very long, last year he got remarried to a woman whom he only dated 3 months, and then they were only married 6 months before they separated. He just received his divorce like 2 months ago, not even 3 months after being seperated from his wife, but not divorced, he started dateing his current girlfriend, whom he is now engaged to and is about to marry in july. He is not takeing care of our child, he actually pawns him off on his mother whom bathes, feeds and takes our child to school. He is going to move to jacksonville when he gets married, which is 3 hours away from me, and he expects me and my husband to sacrifice and move to jackonsville if i expect to see my child on my weekends and holidays. I just served him with papers to fight for custody of my child so i will receive sole custody of him seeing as though his father has not been able to provide a safe, and secure living environment for our child. If anyone has any leagal advice or suggestion on how to help me go about this, please do. I welcome all advice. thank you
