Expressions give so much information. I took Liam to his first playdate today with Mocha Moms! WE LOVED IT! While he was feeling around in the soft balls gym for toddlers, I looked back at the eating area. There were maybe 6-7 moms watching their children play. I had no intention to stare, but just at a glance I noticed so many of them looked sad or worried or even depressed. With just this glance, it almost made me sad! Most, if not all of these women are SAHMs (stay-at-home moms). Some working mothers might only DREAM of having this option, but on this day, those mothers looked as if they wanted to escape the dream and wake up! I only wonder why. What made them look so sad: weight, bills, the unappreciative husband, the tantrum-bearing children, lack of self-worth...And how eager I was to ask them all! Here's to you: How does your face read to other people? Are the feelings and weight of life that you bear showing on the outside? How do you want to be perceived? If its happiness that you want others to see in you, then keep a SMILE on those lips! If it's a life of feeling COMPLETE, then YOU believe it first, and keep right on smiling. Put pep in your step, and keep smiling. As a matter of fact, BE InspirING...brighten up someone else's day, if just at a glance, and smile into their very soul. That one moment, can make a day's difference. |
