The next step

I am good at finding moms, and talking and getting to the end of the conversation about "we should have a play date" but then we just go seperate ways. I feel weird about asking other women for their number, even if it is just a play date...

How do I go about this.........

I really want to make other friends for me and my children but I just can not finsh the steps.

Maybe you should propose an activity that does not require a strong commitment such as Story time at the library or meet at an indoor playarea. Once you get to know the parent better than it will easier to propose a playdate.

I hand out cards with my menail and name on them and if we get on the subject of blogging I give them a link to my family blog. It is a fun way to get to know people and their families.
