My daughter loves her bottle

My daughter is a year and a half, and will not give up the bottle or sleep in her own bed.  She sleeps with my husband and myself.  I would like to conquer one task at a time.  Any suggestions?

is she still sleeping in a crib? my daughter is 21 months and sleeps in a crib i just ordered a toddler bed. she will not sleep in her crib, but only during naptime. so everyone is telling me when they switched beds their daughter slept through the night i guess they feel like a big girl on the toddler bed. and about the bottle i took my daughter off early i now have to take my younger daughter off of it. i let her use both the cup and bottle during the day she never had the bottle in her mouth she only drank it when she went to sleep. so thats why it was easy for me. but now im having trouble taking my daughter off the cup i want to teach her how to go potty. but she HAS TO sleep with the cup! good luck with that : )

Hi Lisa,
I have a 18month old son and he never wanted to sleep in his crib let alone his room when he wan an infant he slept better with me and my husband. We were getting tired of sharing the bed with our son so we deceided to bring his crib into our room and it converts into a toddler bed. Dont get me wrong the first week was rough but stay consistant. At bedtime I would take my son in our room in his big boy bed (and make sure if you do what I did let your daughter help with setting up her big girl bed make a big deal of it) tuck him in read a story and make it dark and lay next to the bed with her until she goes to sleep. It took me about a week and it finally worked. Sometimes you have to take baby steps hey maybe next I will be needing help for getting him back in his own room. LOL As far the bottle my son still drinks his when he wants to go to sleep and then during the day i do not offer it and when he wants it I distract him with something else maybe try that. Good Luck
