Being a first time mom myself, when my daughter began eating solids I was so happy. She was an every 2 hour nurser...so basically, I would feed her three or four times a day as much as she would eat. I never forced her and started peas, carrots and sweet potatos with the baby food. She never liked the fruit. Go with your gut is my best advice, you know when she is hungry, and she'll let you know when shes done. Good luck
