OBESITY

I have a question regarding my 6 year old son. He is in the beginning stages of obesity. He is a very active child and he dosn't eat too much junk food. he is a couple of pounds heavier than my my year old. My 9 year old eats about the same amount of food and is just as active as my 6 year old, but he is as skinny as a rail. Obesity is in my jeans but not his fathers. Is this something that was just going to happen no matter what I do, or is there actually something I can do?

I would consult with a nutritionist or doctor. Obesity can create other health problem not to mention social one.

You are the one buying the grocery so you have control over what ends up in the fridge: eliminate the soda, sugar and all kind of junk food and see if it makes a difference!
