New SAHM still feeling isolated w/ sweet 6 month old boy

I'm not sure if this is the place to post this, but would like to meet up with other new moms with children of similiar ages to go for walks, have coffee or lunch - something to get out of the house and to talk with other adults. I find that now that I'm no longer working, I have a very limited support group of people to hang out with during the weekdays. Thanks.

Not sure where you are located, but you could try a local MOPS or other Mom group. Also, sometimes just going to the local park/playground can be a great way to meet other moms. Good Luck

Thanks Jennifer! I just went to a MOPS group in Everett @ Calvary Church and it was great! I plan to keep going. It was really the first time I have given my little boy over to "strangers" to take care of him and it was weird. I live in Marysville, but didn't see any groups in the area, but Everett is not far away. Thanks again!
