No time for my hair...

One thing I really liked after giving birth to my daughter was noticing how long my hair had gotten....Well...with a new baby and a long list of to-do's everyday I have no time to do my hair and when I do find the time... I have no clue what to do with it!!!

It's very hard to find tips on the web because my hair is "ethnic" so I need help...

I am an African American with very African American hair (lol). I'm trying to stay away from relaxers. So far, so good (it's been 4 or 5 months now).  I recently purchased a (really good) plug-in hot comb and flat irons. But what do I do now??? (LOL) I'm hoping to get good tips on hairstyles and ways to keep up my hair.

FYI: I usually put my hair in a ponytail but one of my New Years Resolutions was to throw away all of my scrunchies...to force myself to DO my hair...well, lets just say clamps and bobby pins are now my good friends....

Thanks for your advice!
