Congratulations on your baby! I'm not a first time Mom but I had my second son at 43 (my first at 30) a couple of years ago. I'm staying home with the little guy so I often feel like a first time Mom! I think being an older Mom in general has it's challenges. Rest assured you aren't alone :-)
You are definitely not alone, I am a first time mom at 48 and I am a stay at home mom. I love every minute of it, it is also a challenge to find things for her to do everyday.
I am so glad to read your comments, I thought I was the only 40+ mom around.
About entertaining and finding things to do with your toddler. I feel that my son should spend time away from us playing with other kids, yet I feel guilty every time I take him to the short time day care up the street from where we live. I am over protecting him and I can’t control it.
