against

I teach Sunday School & I have a little girl in my class (homeschooled) who is very behind socially, she has trouble following basic instruction & she is very overwhelmed working around other kids.  I also feel kids need to know how to deal with other kids of different backgrounds & of different social and economic classes.  It is that way in the real world, and I think it is very important to learn that all through school.

I mean no disrespect with this answer!

Although you have a great reason to be against I believe homeschooling could work if they do other social activities and join a home schooling group where home schooled children from around the city can come together and go on field trips and do group projects. These groups are coming more and more popular among homeschooling parents. My children are not school aged and I have not made my decision to home school or public school yet.
