I have tried to feed my baby solids at different intervals, and she is slowly starting to get the hang of it. She is 6 months old. She is forumla fed also. But she is really taking very slow to this whole solid things.  How long did it take for you baby to adjust to solids. I know each baby is different. I am just trying to get an idea. I only feed her solids about 2 a day b/c she can't seem to handle anymore than that right now. I am trying to get her to actually eat solids twice a day before i move up the amount and the feedings. I am feeding her about a tablespoon. But I know she actually getting less than that.

when did your baby progess to actually being able to hold the bottle on his or her own? Or sippy cup? My baby is starting to show progress towards holding the bottle on her own, but not quiet got it down yet. Also, I bought a sippy cup just for her to get use to it. Not to truly feed herself with yet. I have a tiny bit of water in it just so she gets use to the cup. 

She can sit up on her own for a minute or so before I think she just gets bored and wants to be on her tummy so that she can push up on her arms.
