Clueless Husband (Please help)

Hi Ladies,

I am the husband of a stay at home mom-wife and we have a 16 month boy. In the past I have never had a problem finding a great Xmas gift for my wife, but I am really stumbling this year.

My wife ALWAYS gets the perfect gift for me and obviously I would like to give her something very special to let her know how much I appreciate her for all of her hard work and for being a great wife and mom.

Any suggestions that you ladies can help with would be really helpful.

Thanks and I hope that the season brings all of us love, luck, and happiness.

My hubby often gets me a massage. I LOVE it and it is wonderfully relaxing. I can imagine being a SAHM is anything but! (I wouldn't know, I work FT) but either way. Or maybe if she likes pedicures you could get her one of those. Another idea is a "coupon book" of chores that you would do for her. (Like cook dinner one night, vaccuum, dust, laundry for a week, things like that). Hope it helps! Honestly I am very happy to see a husband take that much consideration for thier wife. You Go! LOL :)

I agree a massage, dinner, a night out, a babysitter arranged for a night out. Does your wife have any hobbies? Or is there anything she might interested in. Maybe give her the opportunity to sign up for a class at a local community college like photography or something fun. Always Bed and Breakfast, Or if she likes to cook a kitchen gadget to make the work go faster like a food processor.

something i want this year but we can't quite afford is a mother's necklace. I want to have my birthstone, my husbands, and my daughters. With the ability to expand since we plan on having another one.

Buy her a movie ticket to the latest movie, or a movie of her choice. My husband did that for me, and I loved it. It was just the two of us without the kids. It was great!

Purchase her a gift card to one of her favorite stores.

Take her horseback riding, if she loves to ride.

Purchase her a hot air ballon ride with a bottle of champagne with cheese and crackers.

Purchase her an outfit, sweater, pajamas she wants.

Subscription to magazine she likes to read.

Buy her a Book.

Take her to a concert.

A day at the spa is a great gift! Talk to one of her friends husbands and plan it together while you watch your son for her. Or tickets to a concert for you and ger or her and a girlfriend. Thats really nice too. Of course both are pretty costly, so if you are looking for something more affordable, try doing something simple like a gift card to get a pedicure, new slippers, candles, a new warm robe, some bath salts, a new relaxing cd so that she can pamper herself at home one night.
