Halloween:)

Halloween will be here soon, and I find myself looking forward to it.Growing up I never liked it."What?" you might say."were you weird as a child?".Yes, yes I was...But you see we did'nt celebrate Halloween.I never went Trick or Treating or dressed up Spooky. We were not allowed. In my house we had "Harvest Partys".Which ment you had to go to church with about 3 other kids and try to have a good time.It always sucked.I'd go to school the next day and have to hear about who got what and what they wore.It was kinda like Charlie and the chocolate factory when the teacher asked him how many bars of chocolate he bought.LOL Now I don't blame my parents, they were just doing what they thought was best.I do find it funny though that now they're Grandparents they have no problem stuffing my kids with candy and wanting to dress them up and weird costumes. This year when we take the girls I think I might dress up.Only the second time in my whole life. Thanks to Lee for the first time. She took me and Charity.I was 18 and it was my first time Trick or Treating.LOL Vannessa it seems wants to start decorating in Sept.We went to the $ Store and went WILD!!!The living room looks like the front of the $ store threw up in it.HAHAHA Anyways back to my point.I am looking forward to it and im surprised by it.It's amazing how some simple changes in ones life can put a new outlook on things.Im enjoying my life more and finding the everyday stuff fun.We took the girls a couple of weeks ago to pick out there costumes. Thats a trick in its self.Since Vannessa at least changes her mind 6 times.Rebecca just wants the candy. So I hope everyone enjoys the process of the Holiday and remember its just as fun for adults as it is for kids.

I have a 13yo and a 12 yo and a 13month old. The 13 yo wants to go the 12 yo doesn't care and the little one doesn't get it. I am taking them all trick-or-treating but since the 12 yo doesn't care about it and the 13 month old can't eat it I am donating their candy and most of my 13 yo's candy to the nursing home my grandmother is in. The elderly people like to have a hard candy or treat to eat and not all of them have family or get to go out and get candy. I think it will be something good for my kids and they will be in costume so it will be fun. (I am keeping all the kit kats ;) )

Thats awsome that your donating it..I'm afraid I would have a melt down in my house(my man mostly) if I did that.I don't allow alot of sweets here, so anytime they can get it WOOT WOOT.LOL I'm sure your 12 yr will get onto tha act once he sees the haul..And like you said it's about the time with your family:)Hope you have a Great Halloween! Be safe. And for me its the reeses cups..HAHA
