Hi all! I have two step sons as some of you already know.  They are 13 and 16 years old.  We have a great relationship and I am super blessed that we have such a great family.
The boys both want to live with their dad and not their mom because they don't get along with their mom very well.
My issue is when they do see their mom, which is every other weekend they usually come home with an attitude.  I try to encourage them to build their relationship with her and I tell them that they need to treat her w/ respect even if they don't want to.
I know it must be hard to transition into the different enviroment every other weekend but what can I do to make it easier on them and not hard on us as a family when they come back home?
