Help adjusting
My boys and I have just moved from Canada to Roseville, Mich.  My 9 year old son has had no problem adjusting to his new school, however, my 7 year old son is having a horrible time.  He cries everyday and it is breaking my heart to leave him at school like this.  We have met with the teacher to discuss any problems, one day I ended up bringing him home.  I know though, that bringing him home is not the solution, as much as I would love to!  Any suggestions?

Try to figure out who could be a good playmate for him and organize a playdate so that he can built friendship. You can also read him books about about being the new kid on the block and how it is never easy. If he understand that it is normal to feel disoriented maybe he will feel more in control of his state of mind.

Good luck.
