Putting myself in they're shoes
Sure I remember how it feels to be a kid and be under the stress of so many rules and yet want to do and have so many things. I know they get some of what we say and some of which they don't. Even once it's explained or shown. They have patience with us and so I try my best to return the favor. I get creative if I have too sometimes. Get on they're level even. Sometimes it's a win win and sometimes they actually need us back off and let them be them in a safe way of course. Everyday is a learning experience for the whole family.
