| No luck with play dates!! |
| Its really hard for me to find friends and I dont know why! Im a very honest, outgoing person! I think maybe my age has something to do with it because Ive met people my age with kids and MAN they threw me a curve ball lol! Im not a judgemental person but I do have beliefs as a parent! I met a couple who had a three month old baby, they were two years older than me but partied like they just turned 21!! Ok everyone has their lifestyles so I put that behind me until I realized that their partying needs were met more than the infants needs! And that to me isnt some one I want to hang out with! So I met another mom with a son a month older than mine. We have gone to their house every time and thats fine with us, but their house isnt baby proofed AT ALL! And it seemed as if everytime we went there their son was ALWAYS in his playpen because he would get into stuff. So weve invited them numerous times and they never come :( So, therefore Im on here looking for mommy friends! I hope I can meet new people and my son can make new friends as well!! |

| Hey...I live in your area. My son is almost 6 months. I dont have any friends with infants....my good friend has a 4 year old and all of my other friends are single. Where did you move from? |

Hi Stephanie!
You sound like a geat mother, do not be turned off. Take your time and be picky with the people you bring into your envirornment and around your child.
I am a mother of three boys, but the youngest is four and I have learned that it is best to try and have only the best and most inspiring people around our children.

Hi Stephanie!
You sound just like me, We were the youg parents with our 1st one. Then 16 yrs later we had our 2nd and then 2 1/2 yrs later our 3rd. Seems like we started over. But our friends kids are all grown up. They have no idea about 2 am feedings, and like you we are not comfortable with some of the old friends, our life style changed, we go to church, we put family 1st. In my opinion we grew up. Hang in there, I am. |
