Playgroup help

I am the moderator of the Cob Galleria aea playgroup and i am having trouble setting up play dates.  Whatdoes everyone eles do in there play group?  What activities can we be doing.  we have 12 moms that are in the group, but i eem to be the onlyone posting anything, and then no one shows up.  i want to make it fun - and cost effective - for everyone.  i have tried to encourage other memers to post there own ideas, but no luck has come from that.  Any ideas????

well i know i am late posting, but it depends on the age of the kids. There is always going to the park. Walking, doing a cooking club event, book club event, have everyone read a book, have a topic discussion (where you type up topics, even from blogs u see on here and put it in a bag and draw one out) I think ppl sometimes have a hard time coming up with things to say. Especially when you don't really know people, Have a kids craft event, you all can learn to crochet together, if you have a talent then you can teach others and visa versa, you can look up places in the area for free things to do with the kids, some places give a discount for a large group. Go to story time at the local library. try for a mom's night out to get know eachother without the kids.
Try to think of your interests and what your child likes to do. Have each member write down five things that they like to do or are interested in. Even if this means thinking of things BEFORE you had children. =)
