Kindergarten Kid is Ready but is Mommie Ready for this Step

Charlyne will be starting Kindergarten next week.  We went shoping for her school supplies this weekend.  It was too cute she picked out her "Disney Princess" lunch box and pencil case.  When we went to check out she asked if she could please not have a bag.  LOL brings back memories.

I also have a 2 year old he needed new sneakers so we bought him "Thomas the Train" sneakers.  he adores trains.  Unlike Charlyne he rarely talks and about 2 months ago when we were watching "Dumbo" he fell in love with the train and tried to say "Choo Choo" he even moves his arm to imitate a whistle.  He pronuces the C's more like a T.  He too wanted his sneakers on ASAP.  He even slept in them that night.  He was too funny taking them off and trying to put them on then coming to me to put them on.

Anyway, I'm excited, anxious, happy, terrified and curious about Charlyne's first day of Kindergarten.  I want to stay focused on all the positives.  She is excited and can't wait to go so imagine her coming home all excited about her day.  Also I have one on one time with Jacob her younger Brother.  We should really start to get into a routine now that she is in school.  It is exiting to see our "Baby" starting to grow up more and more.  Who knows in a few more years when Jacob is a bit older my house might even stay a bit cleaner LOL.

Anyway next Monday we get to meet her teacher and Wednesday is her "BIG" first day.  Honestly, I have been obsessed and I'm glad it is just a bit over a week away.  Sure more posts will follow on this topic.

Sounds like Mommy's ready too. You sound a bit excited and needed to share. But sounds like you have it all under control. Have fun! God Bless.
