Daycare Woes!
ok! I just need to vent a little.  I just started a new position where I have to work longer hours. But its a good thing because I get paid more obviously and its a step up the ladder.  However, the location is not so great.  I have to switch daycares or pray to god that there is never any traffic accidents on my way to pick her up.  So I looked at other centers in the area near work and they are not so great.  One was half way decent but really I would rather her just stay where she is at.  One location SunShine House on West Weiuca is horrible!  Dirty and unorganized.  Definitely don't send unless they shape up!  Dingy dark rooms for tods.  I thought that the place my daughter currently goes to was not the best but after seeing other daycares I know she is going to a good quality for the price.  Staff at her current daycare is nice too and really know my daughter well.  They have helped her in transitioning to eating solids very well, often when I don't really have the time to do it.  Well!  What am I going to do?

Have you considered having a live-in Au Pair or Nanny. It is a great alternative to daycare and then you don't have to worry about how far the daycare is.
