moms @ playgrounds
So does anyone else feel like an outsider when they take their kid to the playgrounds? I work outside of the home, so I dont have a schedule of when I take my son to the playground. When we do go it reminds me of high school. I see two or three groups of mothers with their children, and then a couple of parents like me who don't know anyone. It seems that the parents who don't know anyone end up talking to eachother and the group of mothers stay in their huddle. At first I thought it was just me being anitsocial, but I've gone to various parks and playgrounds and tend to see the  same thing. Any comments???

I have also been going to smaller parks. I also go to parks that are in more "middle class" areas. I find the friendliest women tend to be the kids babysitters!
