potty training
They grow up so fast!! My older child (19 months) tells me when she has poop in her diaper.  Do you think I should start working with her on potty training? I'm a little scared too. All those horror stories... Well that and... well she's my baby!  I know I'm having issues with her acting like a big girl sometimes. I look at Jake(5 months) and Squeeze him cause i know he'll be big before i know it too.  Anyways, what do you think about the potty training thing?

Hi Sweetie, If your little angel can tell you she has poop in her diaper, then she is ready to at least introduce her to the potty & see how well she does, just remember, for success, she has to want to. My son is 28 months old & wants nothing to do with the potty & he can't or won't (lol) tell me when his diaper's dirty. You should be very proud!! Best of luck to you! Sincerly, Theresa

Go ahead and introduce her to it, but take it slow and see how she reacts. If she wants to, go for it. I know it's hard- my son has been showing interest and I'm torn- I want to train him, but it's such a big step--will he still be my baby? I went back and forth, and realized I can't pass up the opportunity. If he is ready, I need to do it. It's part of being a mom, letting them grow up.
