potty training |
They grow up so fast!! My older child (19 months) tells me when she has poop in her diaper. Do you think I should start working with her on potty training? I'm a little scared too. All those horror stories... Well that and... well she's my baby! I know I'm having issues with her acting like a big girl sometimes. I look at Jake(5 months) and Squeeze him cause i know he'll be big before i know it too. Anyways, what do you think about the potty training thing? |

Hi Sweetie, If your little angel can tell you she has poop in her diaper, then she is ready to at least introduce her to the potty & see how well she does, just remember, for success, she has to want to. My son is 28 months old & wants nothing to do with the potty & he can't or won't (lol) tell me when his diaper's dirty. You should be very proud!! Best of luck to you! Sincerly, Theresa |

Go ahead and introduce her to it, but take it slow and see how she reacts. If she wants to, go for it. I know it's hard- my son has been showing interest and I'm torn- I want to train him, but it's such a big step--will he still be my baby? I went back and forth, and realized I can't pass up the opportunity. If he is ready, I need to do it. It's part of being a mom, letting them grow up. |
