All of my suggestions are kinda random but here you go:
*Research the doller stores in your area and compare items like toiletries, craft supplies, organization supplies and even seasonal items to your larger stores. Each store seems to be good for one or the other and food may even be worth some, because most take food stamps and you can buy in bulk. Just make sure to check expiration dates.
*Making a menu for the week saves time and money! Less trips to the store means you save on gas and are less likely to grab random unneccesary items. If you run to the store on your way home from work every night making a menu and only going once will also help releive stress, cause you know what your options are for dinner so there's less guess work. Plus you can enlist the household to help with the shopping by splitting up the list which will save time too!
*Warehouse clubs can also be very worth the annual fee. They are not only for large families. Since they carry food, clothing, toys, books eyeglass and prescriptions services even tires and home furnishings, your bound to find endless bargains by buying in bulk. You may also consider going in with a friend or family member for the membership fee since they all allow two cards per membership. Most even have very good gas prices as well!!!
That's all for now, if I think of more I'll come back!
