Please Help--Not falling asleep at night
My son is two years old and will not fall asleep until around midnight.  he is now in a toddler bed and plays til he passes out which tends to be 4 hours after I put him to bed.  he does stay in his bed thats not the problem it's that he won't submit to drowsiness and go to sleep.  I currently am taking an online course so I tend to stay up pretty late all the while hearing my two year old play in his crib.  Any suggestions?

I feel you. Long story short, my son use to get his leg stuck in between the slacts on his crib, we changed his crib over to a toddler bed and he did the exact same thing your son is doing. My son can open to door if we close it, he can climb the gate if we put one up, and I would stay in his room until he fell asleep but every two hours he would get up and come in our room. So we decided after a week of doing that, we changed his bed back to a crib and now I don't plan on switching him until he is at least 2 1/2. I'm sorry I'm not nore help, but I'm hear if you need to talk to another mom who has been through it.
