foods....help

Ok I have a question but first let me say that at 4 months we started my son on the rice cereal then oatmeal cereal and then on to baby food.  With baby food hes had applesauce, green beans, sweet peas, bananas, pears, peaches, squash, prunes(I bought them cause they were purple and lord I feel bad for making him try them, they were so gross and he hated them) and I'm going to introduce sweet potatos to him soon...He is now 6months and he is a really good eater(he is 25lbs and 30.5in)

My question is, when do you start to introduce the stage/number two foods to him?  I thought that I would wait till he's tried alot of the stage/number ones and been on them a while but I wasn't sure how long I needed to wait.

 Any advice?

PS oh yea and we've already started giving him the wagon wheels(he has 2 teeth) and he likes them, to chew on but if he gets a chunk in his mouth he spits it out.

Stage Two can be given to him now because it is just a little thicker then stage one. Now stage three is when he turns almost one think because it has really big chunk in it. So usually when he start walking or standing on his own. If you need any more help just email me.

If he has teeth you should be safe with any stage two, maybe even stage three if he needs more bulk, they might be thicker, so you should give him longer between each bite. My daughter is almost 8 months and has been eating stage two and three since six months, each baby is different, but use your best judgment, if your worried, put the food through a grinder to soften it or add water or juice. This is the advice I received from WIC.
