Teething |
I am a 1st time mom with an 8 1/2 month old. She doesn't have any teeth yet but I can tell they are comming soon. Does anybody have any suggestions how to make the process go smoother for her and me? |

My son's ped told me not to use baby oragel because that would just drool it out, but he did tell me to alternate between tylenol and motrin. But before doing any of this, ask her ped. |

We used Hyland's teething tablets. They work instantly. You just put them in their mouth and they dissolve. You can buy them at CVS, Target, anywhere like that. Hope this helps! |

I use Hyland's Hemeopathic teething tablests as well. They do work instantly. I get them at Safeway. They realy do work well. My daughter got all four mollers in at one time and theys pills saved my sanity. |

I also used the Hyland's teething tablets. I have also tried the Little Remedies brand, but for some reason they don't work as well. Also, my son really likes to chew on frozen pieces of celery. And his favorite teething toy is a vibrating teether that I got at Babies'Rus. It has been a lifesaver! Good Luck! |

We have used Orajel, sparingly, have not needed Tylenol. We will try the Highlander's again. Orajel has worked instantly according to instructions. Also, an ice cube, carefully and tightly folded into a wet baby washcloth helps, just make sure the cube doesn't slip into his mouth, hold onto it tightly. Cold teething rings warm too quickly. Our son is 9 mnths. this week and his nose runs profusely when he teethes. Does yours? Or is it a cold? |
