Preschool Programs

I was wondering if any one had knowledge of how to find some preschool programs in a certain area/-I've heard there's also a free type of preschool-but I am not aware of the requirements for that?? Any info would be gladly appreciated!

In NY there is a system of lottery for pre-k and you applied for the school in your zone. Depends on the school there is no spot guaranteed. Usually the priority goes to sibling of kids enrolled in the same school.

The best thing I have found is to ask anyone who has preschool age kids. Look preschools up on line and do some homework. Set up appointments with them to tour their facility. The more you see, the more you will learn what you may or may not want.
