| Baby No. Two and Sick as a dog!!!!!! Help |
| My son is going to be two May 3rd and I am now seven weeks pregnant with baby no. 2. I got really sick with the first baby and had to be put in the hospital on IV's, this time I am feeling really sick again and now I have to take care of a toddler!! Any advise??? I need all the help I can get. |

ASK FOR HELP! It is so easy for women to say, oh well I'll be OK or somehow think that they don't deserve help. Well, I am telling you that you do deserve it. Now you have to tell yourself this and don't let that little voice take over again!
I have had 4 children in the last 5-6 years and it wasn't until my last baby that my body screamed to me..."you need help!" It took an emergency c-section and then a terrible flu that knocked me out for 2 weeks immediately after I had Matthew, that made me realize that I wasn't superwoman and that I did need to ask for help. Thank God that my mom was more intune to this and came to my rescue. She cooked, cleaned, took care of the other little ones, and told me, "Don't you even think about getting out of bed, You only need to think of yourself and your newborn." Oh Stephanie! I'm so sorry to hear you are not feeling well with this one too...I have 5 chldren now...and on my last one, I was on bed rest the entire pregnancy, was hospitalized and had IV PICC lines to feed me...we have a wonderful church family...who helped with meals and cleaning, etc...so I'm hoping you have someone you can call on for help...try not to overdoit. I know that might seem impossible. Do you have family close?

| i know how you feel...i was sick both of my pregnancy's losing around 38 lbs both times. it sucks! but you should ask your dr about the drug called ZOFRAN it is amazing. you can go from being sick and throwing up everyday with out a break to feeling wonderful and back to normal just by taking this little pill. ask your dr!!!!! i swear by it. hope you get it...leila |

I agree Zofran is the miracle drug. I have 2 boys and on my second pregnancy I had morning sickness the entire time and they tried phenergan it worked sort of and then reglan with I had a reaction to. Then they finally gave me Zofran, they delayed since it is very expensive and most ins co will only give you a few at a time or not cover alot of it. When I mean expensive its $750 for 30 pills and when you can take it 2 times a day thats $1500 for a month supply. If you have good ins ask your doctor about it it works so quick especially if you get the ODT (oral dissolving tablet) it dissolves quickly.
