I don't know anything about candles but I wanted pass this remedy to get rid of bad odor in the house (for example if you have burned something). Boil water and vinegar in a pot and go around the house with the pot. My grandmother trick, apparently it works.

yes, Candles can be toxic...many have lead in them...so you have to be careful...their are alternative out there. I have been shopping with Melaleuca for going on 7 years now and love it. I get to go online order just what I need...they ship it directly to my door...they don't treat me like a number either...every time I have called to ask a question they have been so eager to help and are so nice. They have toxic free candles too! My husband is prone to asthma and has sensitive skin as well, so I have to be careful what I use to clean with and what I use to deoderize the house, soaps, laundry detergents, etc...with all the Melaleuca products, I don't have to worry...everything they have is safe to use around children and asthmatics...plus they have a lotion called ReNew and it has worked wonders on my husband and children's skin...I could go on, but will stop...LOL...hope this helps.
