Laura,
What information are you looking for? I can give you links that have all the vaccine inserts, ingredients etc. I guess I should ask where you want to start looking. You will find stuff from both sides (pro and against), it can be head spinning reading through all of it.

http://nvic.org/Diseases/mmr.htm

Here is a link from www.nvic.org, it has information on the MMR. I like this web-site because it has information from both sides. It was created to inform parents about the vaccines and diseases.

You may want to check out The Vaccine Book by Dr Sears, he offers an alternate schedule and explains all the vaccines pros and cons.

I was against shots for awhile due to the mercury in them which people are claiming cause Autism. But then looking more into it I found that one can of tuna fish has more mercury than all the shots combined.

wow is that true !!!??

When you eat something (like tuna) it goes through the digestive system, which the body can filter some of the bad things out. When you inject something it goes directly into the blood stream and through out the body.

I don't eat tuna and I don't give it to my kids. I try to be careful about foods, cleaning products and soaps. Most of these things now contain high levels of harmful chemicals.

I remember ready something about baby soap products ...which brand to u choose to use on your child ?

I have been using California baby, but be careful if your son has allergies. They have a number 2 rating because of that. Check the link below, they give ratings on so many products. You can find all natural products at most health food stores, but they are more expensive.

As for cleaning, I like Method brand products. I also use baking soda for the shower. White vinegar and lemon juice work too, they are cheap and kill bacteria. (I just don't like the smell of vinegar so I don’t use it often)

Try some vinegar with baking soda (paste). let it sit for a while and then give it a good scrubbing. You could also keep a squeegee in the shower to remove the water after showering.

THANK U SO MUCH !!!!!!!!!!!

I figure that the very small amount of risk involved in getting the vaccinations is WAY worth avoiding the consequences that would happen if your child would get one of the diseases that the shots are trying to prevent. Autism is not fatal, but measels are! Besides, I don't think there is enough research to say that vaccinations "cause" autism. There has to be some predisposition there to begin with and at most, it is correlation, not causation.

It is the amount of shots you give at one time that is the problem. I do not let my son get more than 2 shots and any appointment and I am waiting until he is around 2 years for the MMR shot.
