4 yr old still not potty trained

ok my gf and i have a 4 year old boy who keeps having accidents in his underwear. he has been out of diapers for about 2 -3 months now and he was doing really good at first going on the potty and going pee but he still won't poop on the potty at home only at daycare and he keeps having accidents u will ask him if he needs to go and he will say no and 5 mins later he is pissing his in underwear we have tried the chart he don't care we have tried presents and candy nothing is working...... after he pees in his underwear and pants he trys to hide it by saying he has to go potty or he has 2 take off his pants and if u ask him why he wet himself he will lie right 2 ur face and say i didn't or he will say cuz my gf and i don't know what 2 do anymore will someone plz plz help us out!

you made need to enforce some sort of discipline if there is not physical reason why he is doing it. Like some sort of time out or whatever form you prefer.?.

When he has an accident, don't make a big deal, don't punish, but give him the responsibility of changing himself and cleaning himself up. Then give him lots of praise for other things he does well, big boy things. Give him a little responsibility for himself and his things, some independence. For example, he has to put his dirty clothes in the laundry, not just when he has accidents but every day. Let him pick out what to wear (from a couple of choices that are appropriate). It will make him feel good. Try to act like you have lost interest in potty training. Don't make a big deal, and he may give up (he is probably doing this for attention) and start using the toilet more often.
