moms group activities

Hello! I recently started a moms group that is meeting for the first time today. I was looking at some moms groups in other areas and they all seem to have so many activities. What can I do to "spice" up my moms group and come up with good ideas for all of us to do?

My moms group does a book club, moms night outs, playgroups, and routine walks in each other's neighborhoods. Plus, I try to schedule some routine meetups at cool family-friendly museums near me.

My moms group also does moms night out once a month. We also have play dates every week and routine walks at our mall early in the morning 3 times a week. We even do our own mommy & me play dates every other week with a craft. For the mommy & me we sing a few kids songs have a storytime and then do a craft. Each one is done with a different theme.

We also have some horse stables near by that offers pony rides, and we have taken the kids for that when the weather is nice in the spring and fall. Sometime a mom will host a play date at her house. If it is in the summer time we have a pot luck lunch and set up a kiddie pool and maybe a sprinkler for the kids to play in outside. We have also had a few pot luck dinners. For some of our moms night outs we have had a game night with pot luck.......they are always a big hit with my group. My group has been going strong for 3 years April 6, 2008.
