what is the best way to keep in touch with your granchildren?

I am Nana to a two year old grandaughter and 8 month old grandson,  our grandaughter lived with us for the first year of her life!!  It was the greatest!  then my daughter and her husband (military) moved over 24 hours away and I am totaly lost without them!  How do I keep in touch so they wont forget me?

Chantel,
Thank you for your perspective on things as a Nana. I am a new mother and on the other end. My parents live miles away. They do manage to come see us each month though as they are retired. My father, a retired EE, gave me a computer cam that attaches to your monitor. We just need to figure out how to communicate real time and then we are all set. That's a great idea for you. I hope you find real time together face to face, but this is good for in the meantimes. Take care.
