According to my doctor kids in the United States drink way too much milk. So I limit my kids to half a glass a day.
Have you try to give him milk with cereal? I am not a doctor but I would guess that if he eats yogurt and cheese he should have plenty of calcium.
A lot of kids are lactose intolerant and I think they do just fine!

Vero is right. He can get calcium from so many other sources besides milk.

I agree that other dairy foods are providing enough calcium. Some people just don't like milk. You could also try calcium fortified orange juice. Broccoli and spinach are good sources, too, that you can mix in with salads.

My 4 year old has a ritual glass of chocolate milk every morning while I drink my coffee. I have my coffee and he has his "coffee". Thats the only time he drinks it, and his doctor thinks that is just fine consitering he eats cheese and yogurt as well.
