Weekend Daddy

My husband works very hard all week and may spend a couple of hours with our children each weekday if that. But during the weekend he takes over. Bye bye schedule, things just go absolutely crazy. I am so happy that he loves our children and wants to spend every moment with them when he's off but I feel invisable and it takes me a good 2 or 3 days to get them back on track... Does anyone else have super weekend daddy?

my husrband is like that only he follows her schedule bc he knows that if he screws with say nap time, and hten it screws up night times, he will be the one getting up with her whether he works in the morning or not. simple as that. it osunds like you need to put your foot down. its good for kids to keep their routine, and if he is messing with that then you need to say something. like i know you love spending itme with them but can you try to keep with their scheduel? jsut be niucce about it. he might not even know he is doing it. good luck!
