Weaning off the baby bottle.

I need some advice or tips how to wean off my 11 month old baby from her bottle. She refuse to drink from her sippy cups (milk/juice). I am doing the same method from when i was weaning the bottle with my son and it was a success with him. But my little girl, she is not giving up and refusing to drink from her sippy cup. So any advice would be greatly appreciated.

All kids are different. I would just take your time and not force her to stop using the bottle. Maybe start by giving the sippy at breakfast, then over some time give it for lunch too. It may take some time, but try doing it gradually.

My son is nine months and I am trying to introduce the sippy cup...have been for a few months, but he doesn't seem to understand how it works. He just bites on it. But they have these new cups that instead of the hard top with the sippy spout, its a nipple shaped like the sippy spout. He's using that well, and it serves the same purpose for now. I think if he gets used to that, then he'll transition to the traditional sippy cup easier.

try Nuby sippy cups, replace one bottle a day for a week and gradually replace more
