Forced to Work!?!?

My huband is being required to work ever Saturdat for 12 hours. Is this legal? I thought theer were rules to how many hours you HAD to work?!? Please educate me anyone...

I think it will probley depend on the state that you are in. I believe the company is allowed to say you have to work x amount of hours...but there are laws about beeing paid what you work and getting paid over time (I think). I know my friend worked for UPS and they have to work a MIN. of 40 plus hours. A good place to start looking is the company employees manual (if they have one). Unfortunitly there may not be anything you can do about it....good luck. that sucks that he has to work every Sat.
