Clichés from a Hat

Just thought I'd share a little poem I wrote...

Clichés from a Hat

This chain is only as strong as that which does not kill us,
And I fear you are the missing link.
I'm quick off the mark, but you're slow as molasses,
And only time will tell you what to think.

You're on the fast track to nowhere,
And I'm along for the ride.
Off the beaten track record somewhere,
But I'll be here when you decide.

There are plenty of bigger fish to fry in the sea,
But my lips are signed, sealed, and delivered to you.
For all the wrong reasons, you're barking up the right tree.
Now you're red in the face, and still you feel blue.
