Flu Shot -

Flu Shot

My son is 8 months old and my Doctor wants him to get a flu shot, I am weary about it though and was looking for some input? I had it once and it made me sick. Have any of you got the flu shot for your lil one and if so how did they react?

I never gave my kids flu shot, somehow I feel that they have to build their own immune system. I would consult another pediatrician, mine always advice against it!

i got one when i was pregnant, bc i always get the flu really bad, but i wouldnot give ella one. i figure ill keep her indoors or just try my hardest to shield her with out a shot. l agree to vero, kids dont geta chance to build an immune system with everything today. its different if they were a premie or have soemthing else wrong, so always geta second opinion.

So funny that I saw this as Sienna is going to be 8 months and is scheduled to get a flu shot on Tuesday. I have asked a few dr offices and they have all advised to get the shot. I am all freaked out because I don't want her to get sick either. I don't know what to do. Daddy says that it would be better for her then to have the shot but I am really really freaking out about it. I freak out about all her immunizations though so I don't know if I'm over reacting??

i am like lori. i have a scheduled flu shot appointment tuesday for my 11 month old baby girl. i am a nervous wreck.
