No After School Activities!

The other day I met the father of a 7 years old boy that has after school activities 4 days a week so he has only one day a week for playdates!

Actually it is very common that kids are overbooked, and parents expecially if the have more than one child spend their time taking kids from one activities to the next.

In a way, it is good to expose them to music, sports, languages and art but how much is too much? It is also difficult to have to maintain a schedule, and to be there on time, and to change and to wait...and to go home and not have any time to enjoy quite time.

This fall, I decided that for my kids the after school program is either going to the park, playdates with their friends and weekends out of town.
