Should I be worried?
Colin has started to hit his head on his crib and hes been doing it for all most 3 days now. Should I worry about it? I put stuff like blankets, crib bumper but he just hits his head still. What can i do about it or just let it be?

My son never banged his head on his crib, but I just read a article in Pareting Magazine and it said that most kids that bang their head usually grows out of that stage by 2 years old.

How old is your son? Maybe he's having trouble with his neck muscles or maybe he's just experimenting with something new he's learned how to do?! My son used to bang his head on the floor when he was about 8 months old. (when I ignored the behavior he stopped) I would definately call your Doctor though, it never hurts to ask. HUGS FOR YOU

My son (13 months) also hits his head on everything not just his crib. The floor, wall, front door, coffee table you name he does it. I have also been looking into ways to get him to stop. So if I come across any articles or advise from our doctor I will pass them along. Good luck!

My son who is 13 months ols does the same.
When kids teeth, their head gets heavy and they do this to lighten themselves.
Try massaging his head with baby oil atleast once a week. You can do it more frequently too. (bafore a bath is generally better to avoid the mess)
ALso massaging a little bit of oil behind his ears help kids feel light and relaxes them. It always works for my son. Hope it works for you too. Take care.
