Teething
Hi all! Just wanted to know your thoughts on my son's teething (or lack there of). He is turning 1 tomorrow and he still has no teeth! I know it is not abnormal to have no teeth yet - lots of people have said that he will probably get them soon or all at once. My concern is that he doesn't even seam to be "ready" - no white spots, no swelling, nothing. I've heard that if they don't get teeth by 15 months that could be a big problem. I wanted to know if anyone has a child who didn't get teeth until then (15 months or so) and if that really is a big problem. I'm sure he'll get his teeth soon, but I just wanted to get some thoughts to "sooth" my concerns (lol)!

Hi, Andrea
Don't worry about . My son is 19 months and he has only 6 teeth. Before I was crazy about it, but now I spoke with 2 doctors they said is normal and sometimes genetic.

Hi Andrea
A lot of mom will tell you not to worry but I would worry a little. Have you talked to his doctor or maybe a dentist? Because maybe his gums are too hard for the teeth to break through!
