With the fast pace of life, stress can be a MAJOR problem. Stress can cause both mental and physical problems in everyone. In fact, with the week I had two weeks ago, I thought this would be a great way to learn what everyone else does doing stressful times in their lives. Okay, I admit! I am doing this for my benefit, but I figure everyone could benefit from learning about this topic. Who knows? Maybe what one person does now could be the very thing that could help someone else. Here are some of the things I do to relieve stress in MY life.: - Take a hot, relaxing bath.
- Search for freebies on the internet. ;-)
- Read a book.
- Listen to music or a book on CD.
- Take a nap.
- Blog, Blog, Blog. Did I mention I Blog to relieve stress? (LOL)
- Go to the library, and see what is interesting to check out.
- Clean the house. (I know. I'm a freak, but I can't stand things to be unorganized.)
- Clean my desk. (Yes, it's the same reason why I clean the house.)
- Cry (This is only when I am really, really stress out. No, I don't enjoy it, but I sure feel better after a good cry.)
- Play War Craft on the computer. Nothing like killing inadamant objects when you are really ticked off. (LOL)
- Play Book Worm on my computer or cards b/c I like to make my mind work as well.
- Go to my favorite thrift store and shop!
- Eat Chocolate. (Okay, I admit this isn't the most healthy stress reliever, but it makes me feel better.)
- Eat ice cream. (Same reason as why I eat chocolate as a stress reliever.)
