Where are my babies teeth?

My daughter is almost 12 months now and her teeth have yet to come through. She seems to be a late bloomer on this subject and advancing in others. She is showing the signs and has been for a while now. She is drooling, eating her fingers, getting pimples from the drool, etc. I can also feel how hard her gums are getting and can see white outlines on the gums, more so on the bottom. We don't go to the doctor's for a couple of weeks. They didn't seem to be concerned at her last visit. Just wanted to know if anyone has been through this and if they're is any advice to get the ball rolling here.

Kelly, you are not the only one with this. My daughter will be 15 months on the 17th and I just now can see the tips of her two bottom teeth. I asked the dr. about it and he said it can take up to 15 mths before they come in. I also asked my dentist about it and he said she probably has tough gums so it takes longer for them to pop through. Don't worry they will come eventually. Kim

My nephew was over a year old before he got his first tooth. I wouldn't worry. Just think of it this way- the later they come in, the less time for them to be exposed to harmful bacteria, and they will be healthy.

Kelly, don't worry. I was also pretty worried 'cause my daughter is 10 months old and her teeth are just showing. I was going off what my mom told me, that i had teeth at 7 months old but what i've learned since i had a baby is that they're all different. Your baby's teeth will come in when they're ready so all i can say is just be patient. :)

hi my daughter was 16 months when all her teeths starting coming out and i was worried but it's ok
they will come out
