Starting a New School Year.

Tomorrow we are going to be starting school again.  This will be the third year I have homeschooled my oldest.  My youngest will be offcially starting Kindergarten.  I have worked with him before but this will be offcial.  In my state though they don't really require any recording of anything or reporting to anyone.  I do keep some of their work though throughout the year.  As they get into middle school and highschool I will do a lot more recording.

My oldest will be starting the second grade doing some second grade and some third grade work and my youngest will be like I said above doing Kindergarten with some first grade work as well.    They are both excited about starting the new year out.  I know as time goes on though they won't be too excited LOL.  They love doing school but somtimes they would rather not.  They are good for me though for the most part.

AAAHHHRRRGGG!!!

I feel better now. I just finished a reading lesson with my eldest (4-girl) And right now I just need to breathe. Some days she gets so frutrated / bored that we accomplish nothing. Then there are days that I feel so proud I could cry. Today was not that day. I have heard of a schedule for home schooling of 3 weeks on, 1 week off. The last week being used for planning and outings. Think I might try this. Right now I attempt our lessons 5 days a week and usually get in 4. But we both need a break I think. I just know that when we take a long break, I spend a few days just on review! I think I am going to go eat chocolate now. Thanks for reading my ranting! lol Angela
