I'm in the same boat. I am originally from NJ and I moved to Greensburg, Pa to be with my husband. I've been here for 6 yrs. Both my husband and I work, so it makes it even hard to meet other parents with kids.
We have a very outgoing 4yr old daughter and she LOVES!! to play with other kids. I am also hoping to meet some other moms . |

i hjust moved to casper wy and am so lonely, people dont seem very friendly. its hard i dont know how to meet people here thats why i joined this sight im really from BEMIDJI MINNESOTA......miss it tons that was a wonderful place to live!

| I just started a group a day ago and I have two new members. I went and looked for mom's in my area and hit the "Invite to group button" When you look at some ones profile it will be on your right hand side of the screen. Just search for people in your area and invite them to join. |

Oh My Gosh someone I can really relate to. I am gonna do the caps lock because i hunt and peck, and it is easier 4 me. I READ YOUR MESSAGE AND ALTHOUGH I HAVE LIVED HERE FOR ABOUT 5 YEARS, ALOT OF MY FRIENDS ARE YOUNGER OR HAVE MORE THAN ONE CHILD SO ARE BUSY BUSY. AND MAKING NEW FRIENDS IS DIFFICULT. I DO THE NERVOUS TALK THING TO, OR I FALL SILENT, AND FEEL AKWARD. I WILL JOIN YOUR GROUP 4 SURE!!!! I AM IN MARION, IOWA, AND I JOINED A MOM GROUP RECENTLY. I can relate, I moved to a new city it has been 2 yrs. I am an outgoing person, and very social. I find it difficult meeting other moms like me. I would love to have chat buddies, park buddies, even close girlfriends. I am located in Houston TX.
My close friends have become associates. They dont call or email me anymore, so basically I have no friends. My family lives in another state, well many different states due to Hurricane Katrina. I would love .. to have new friends, especially moms, and first time moms.

| VERY LONELY AND NO HELP!!! It is so hard to move to a new area and try to find friends that are stay home moms with boys. I live in Billings, MT and lived here for 2 1/2 years. People are so unfriendly. It is pretty sad when the computer has to be your friend. My boyfriend is a over the road truck driver so he is gone all the time from 3 to 6 weeks so it gets really lonely. |

Hi,
It is so hard to keep up with the conversations. It seems like all of us are from different places. I am in PA, have been for 9 months. I am originally from NJ and everyone I know lives there. It is very hard to meet new people and when you have a family, your ability to do much gets very small. I am lonely as heck too. I have not been out of the house in over a week and all I did was go to an interview... My phone hardly rings unless it's a bill collector. I am a genuine person and really care about people and their well being. I would love to talk to any of you. I agree with Amy....it is sad when the computer becomes your friend. |
