1st birthday party for family
I could really use some ideas for my daughter's first birthday party theme. I have about 30-40 family members to invite, so I want it to be somewhat simple, but also fun and memorable. Anyone have any ideas?

We are having my son's party at a town park, this eliminates the stress of doing it at home. We are going to have cold cuts and salads for food, so we don't have to heat anything up or cook. Our theme is going to be jungle animals, and we are getting plates and stuff like that from Oriental Trading. They have lots of good party themes. We are also getting personalized pencils from Oriental Trading as party favors and making jungle animal pops instead of having goody bags. I found a website that gives 6% cash rebates for shopping at Oriental Trading, as well as many other stores.

We are having my son's B-day party at a local park too, its easier since you dont have to deal with the mess after the party. Well his theme is going to be Cars the movie because his favorite toy is a car and he gets glue to the tv every time the movie is on but anyways Im ordering all the decorations at http://www.allaboardtoys.com/ you can check out the different themes they have for girls over there too. The dinnerware is a solid color matching his theme otherwise it will get too expensive , the cake from Albertsons they even scan a picture for you, bakeries are soooooooo expensive and kids like simple cakes and well for flavor Im making personalized Hersheys chocolates with my son's photo that I order at http://wrappedhersheys.com. As far as food hamburguersm hot dogs, chips and salsa, potatoe salad and baked beans my house is one block from the park so is easier for me to get stuff as i need them. Well good luck and I hope this help you a little bit. My cousin is having her daughter's b-day and since the baby is a red hair the theme will be strawberry shortcake lol cute!!!!
