Help with Potty Training!!!
I have a son who just turned 4 in May, and a daughter who just turned 3. I'm having the most impossible time trying to get them interested in the potty with out being too agressive or pushy ( because I heard that's not good ) I've tried everything from the chart, to cartoon underpants, to "small" rewards. I guess I'm just getting a little frustrated because I know if my son starts my daughter will follow! Does anyone have any other suggestions???

Stop trying so hard...when they are ready they will let you know. I think a lot of kids use the potty as a power trip and they resist until they know they can get you.
Now with the summer here, let them go around without diaper so they can feel the wet.
My kids were potty trained late but it was fast and effortless...

I know with my son I would put him in toddler diapers and he couldn't tell that he was wet. So when I just put him in underwear it took a little while but finally decided he didn't like feeling wet and decided to go sit on the potty. Don't worry he'll get there!!!

You are right, it is not good to push. Like Vero said, they will decide when they are ready, and pushing can lead to power struggles.

They need to feel wet so let them go without a diaper, or put the underwear inside the diaper. Do not punish accidents, but praise success highly.

Sarah,
My son is 3 and fully potty trained. My hubby would bring him to the bathroom every time he went, he would sit him on the potty and say "ok it's your turn" That was not working. One day I told m hubby to let him stand up and pee just like his daddy, like a big boy! That was all it took. No more potty chairs. He wanted to be a big boy.
