teething PLEASE HELP!!!!!
Hi my 2nd son is 5 months old and teething really bad and I cant give him orajel because he had a reaction to it.He turned blue and we had to rush him to the hospital.well I've tryed a teething ring he doesnt like that and tylenol is ok but he still acts like hes miserable.Does anyone know any mommy tricks? I'd appreciate it so much I dont remember this being so hard with my first son

Maybe you can try that plastic teething object you put in the freezer, the cold might sooth him. Some people would use also frozen bagel but I would not reccomend it because you always have the risk that when the bagel defreeze the baby can swallow a piece of it.

Sometimes they prefer a cold wet washrag like the baby ones instead of the teething ring. I know mine goes to town on one when he is in the tub. :)

With my kids, I would freeze fruit in ziplock bags. Apples, bananas, grapes, pears. Offer the fruit to child in highchair. It will get messy.
Offer child good quality yogurt "brown cow, mountain high", slightly frozen. I also used a homeopathic remedy with my kids: "Hylands", "Homeopathic Teething Gel". It comes in a small tube 1/3 oz. It's 100%, and has no side effects. It works great. I hope these suggestions help.
