Newbie just wanting to say hi!

I am SAHM to my 11 month old son, Joshua. We recently moved to Waco, Texas and I don't know anyone here! My husband works a lot and I desperately need some adult conversation throughout the day. I've looked for playgroups or classes, but haven't had much luck. Maybe I need to start my own group.

Boy there are a lot of us out here with the same issue. we recently moved to crowley tx, north of you and i too have tried to make new friends the conventional way(church etc) but not much luck. i am too far for you, but i am trying to start my own group also. right now i have four/five possibles for playgroup from this site and meetup.com, but meetup you have to pay to start the group.
i think you'll like it here. i visit almost every day to read and post. join a few groups. i like sahm's, christian moms and moms of toddlers:) good luck
